The ReCalibrator

The AutoTrans ReCalibrator corrects speedometer errors due to speed calculation errors caused by changes from factory tire size or axle ratios. The unit also assures that the ABS and automatic transmission operations function according to corrected speed values rather than values which may not be correct due to tire size or axle ratio change. This prevents premature, delayed or no ABS and automatic transmission operation on vehicles that use propshaft speed values.
Installation of the unit is easy and can be done quickly by the end-user. Splice the AutoTrans ReCalibrator into the existing wiring as specified by the manufacturer. Take the vehicle over a measured distance and note the odometer reading. Adjust the dip switches as per instructions and retest the vehicle over a measured distance.
